Yokohama Chinatown (横浜中華街・よこはまちゅうかがい)

Yokohama Chinatown is Japan’s largest Chinatown where you can have Chinese foods and experience Chinese culture.

There is a Chinese shrine called Yokohama Kanteibyo (Guan Di Miao Temple) in Chinatown. Yokohama Port was opened in 1859, many Chinese people came to Yokohama as a merchant and a craftsman. A person brought a wooden statue to open a small shrine, it is the origin of Kanteibyo in Yokohama.
