Kawagoe is a city in Saitama Prefecture which has many historical architectures. It’s about one hour from central Tokyo by car/train. Kawagoe is called Koedo（小江戸）which means towns that retain their character from during the Edo period.
Tokinokane（時の鐘・ときのかね） is a landmark in Kawagoe which is kind a bell tower with a height of 16 m and wooden construction. They ring the bell at certain times in the day. There is a very little tiny shrine in there as well.
